Marquee Development Partners sell out luxury Kirra Beach apartments, signaling strong demand for premium property on the southern Gold Coast

Marquee Development Partners has announced that their luxury apartment project, Monterey Kirra Beach, is now 100% sold, highlighting the strong demand for premium property on the southern Gold Coast. The award-winning Queensland development group revealed that the project had reached a total of over $125 million in sales.
Sales manager Azura Griffen said, “Top end demand for the southern Gold Coast continues to go from strength to strength as evidenced by the overwhelming response to Monterey Kirra Beach with interest coming from a mixture of Brisbane and interstate buyers looking to downsize or for a weekend or holiday home.”
The last month has been particularly active, with an average sale price of $5.79 million per apartment achieved, equating to more than $20,000 per square metre of luxury apartment space. The last three sales were $6.09m for a 277sqm apartment, $5.79m for a 267sqm apartment, and $5.49m for a 267sqm apartment, to Sydney and Brisbane buyers.
Griffen noted that several buyers who had been working with them from the start of the year decided to commit in March, citing more certainty around the economic climate and limited supply of new beachfront apartments on the Gold Coast.
She added, “The iconic relaxed beachside lifestyle, in combination with record population growth, limited new housing supply, and a wave of major new infrastructure, will continue to drive demand for the southern Gold Coast.”
Monterey is Marquee’s 10th prestigious development on the Gold Coast, offering a collection of north-facing, oversized three, four, and five-bedroom luxury residences. Residents will enjoy luxury resort-style amenities, including a heated pool, feature poolside cabana, outdoor spa, European sauna, ocean-view gym, yoga lawn, surfboard wash station, business suite, private bar, and billiard lounge.
Marquee has four other projects under construction across the Gold Coast that are all due for completion over the next 3 months and are all 100% sold out, including One Cannes and Shoreline Residence in Surfers, Northshore at Palm Beach, and Sol in Kirra Beach.

The company also recently announced the acquisition of one of the largest remaining absolute beachfront development sites on the Gold Coast, located in Palm Beach adjoining the Pacific Surf Life Saving Club. The 3,304sqm property will become Marquee’s 11th Gold Coast apartment project to be developed in the last eight years, offering a selection of unique absolute beachfront apartments with significant five-star amenities.
