Boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya is looking for a quick sale of his Henderson, Nevada home, which he purchased while it was still under construction. The nearly 9,000-square-foot super-contemporary property, located just a few miles from Las Vegas, boasts stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip and is now on the market for $20 million.

The privately gated home, situated on a cul-de-sac in the foothills of the McCullough Mountains, offers a range of luxurious amenities befitting an 11-time world boxing champion. These include a trophy room, golf simulator, wine room, wet bar, hair salon, butler’s kitchen, and expansive sliding glass walls that showcase the magnificent mountain and city views in addition to the iconic Strip.

With five bedrooms, seven full baths, and three fireplaces, the home provides ample space and comfort. The exterior of the property spans 2,409 square feet and features water features that rival some of the Las Vegas casinos, an infinity pool, lap pool, outdoor living room and kitchen, fire lounges, spa bath, outdoor shower, and a private garden lanai.

Oscar De La Hoya, born and raised in East Los Angeles to Mexican immigrant parents, began his boxing career at the tender age of six. He went on to win numerous titles, including a national Junior Olympic title at 15, a Golden Gloves title in 1990, and an Olympic gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, just months after graduating from high school.

Throughout his professional career, De La Hoya’s charismatic personality and impressive record of 11 world boxing titles in six weight classes earned him the moniker “Golden Boy.” Before retiring, he founded Golden Boy Productions, which has become one of the most successful sports promotion companies in the world, contributing to his estimated net worth of $200 million.

Las Vegas has increasingly become a popular destination for celebrities and athletes to call home, with residents including Celine Dion, Mark Wahlberg, David Copperfield, Steve Wynn, Wayne Newton, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Mike Tyson.
