Bendigo Bank has been named Australia’s leading home loan lender for customer satisfaction, with 87.7% of its mortgage customers satisfied with their experience over the six months to March 2024.
The findings come from a survey of more than 30,000 customers from the country’s ten largest banks, conducted by research firm Roy Morgan.
Bendigo Bank’s Chief Customer Officer for Consumer Banking, Richard Fennell, said he was honoured but not surprised by the result, given the bank’s relationship-focused approach.
“At Bendigo Bank, we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our customers,” Mr Fennell said.
“We work hard to deliver great outcomes for each and every customer and have reached out to as many of our home loan customers as possible over the last two years to make sure their loans were suitable for their circumstances.”

First home buyer Patrick Pretlove, a 24-year-old airline cabin manager from Geelong, is one of those satisfied customers. He thanked Bendigo Bank for the support he received when taking on one of the biggest financial commitments of his life.
“Bendigo Bank were extremely supportive when I was going through my application process,” Mr Pretlove said.
“A special thanks has to go out to Meri Dimovska who was super responsive to the hundreds of questions I had and provided me with regular updates as my application progressed, which certainly put me at ease.”

The Roy Morgan survey results cement Bendigo Bank’s position as a leader in customer satisfaction, which it attributes to its community-focused banking model and emphasis on building strong relationships with clients.
