National award-winning developer Chasecrown has commenced construction on its $120 million Parkline residential project in Kent Town, Adelaide. The company has also announced that global construction firm Multiplex will manage the build.
Key points:
- The 12-storey, 61 luxury apartment building is already 80% sold
- Final release of premium apartments on higher levels now available, priced from $1.3 million to $5.1 million
- Multiplex appointed as construction manager, adding to their $500 million worth of projects in South Australia over the past 30 years
- The all-electric building is capable of net zero operation with a 7-star average apartment energy rating
- Located on Dequetteville Terrace, offering views of east parklands, city or hills
Chasecrown Director and Project Architect Louis Kanellos highlighted the project’s prime location, stating, “You can’t live any closer to the Adelaide CBD without living in the city itself. It offers the best of both worlds, combining urban living with city convenience.”
The development features environmentally responsive design initiatives, including:
- Naturally ventilated carpark with ‘green walls’
- Extensive solar array supporting communal energy consumption
- Infrastructure for individual electric vehicle charging stations
- Home automation options
Chasecrown is also investing in the public realm around the Kent Town project by removing power lines, activating street frontages and laneways with landscaping, and installing green walls.
With 80% of apartments already sold, Chasecrown anticipates high demand for the final release of premium homes. The project is expected to contribute to the ongoing regeneration of Kent Town while recognizing the precinct’s local character and proximity to the city.
