Chasecrown, a national award-winning developer, has commenced construction on its $120 million Parkline residential project in Kent Town, with the announcement that global construction firm Multiplex will oversee the project. The development, located on Dequetteville Terrace, recently released its final penthouse and sub-penthouse units.

Louis Kanellos, Director and Project Architect at Chasecrown, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Multiplex, a company known for its significant global footprint and expertise in delivering iconic projects. “Multiplex is a premier construction company that has shaped skylines around the world. It has delivered more than 1,100 projects globally, including 18 in South Australia,” Mr. Kanellos noted.

Andrew Warren, State Manager for Multiplex SA, shared the excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to be appointed by Chasecrown to deliver this exceptional project. Parkline Kent Town adds to our long-standing presence in South Australia, where we have delivered approximately $500 million worth of projects over the past 30 years.”

The 12-storey luxury apartment building, which is already 80 percent sold, features 61 units with prices ranging from $1.3 million to $5.1 million. The residences offer uninterrupted views of the east parklands, city, or hills and are positioned to provide a blend of urban living with city convenience.

Mr. Kanellos highlighted the project’s proximity to Adelaide’s CBD, noting, “You canโ€™t live any closer to the Adelaide CBD without living in the city itself. It offers the best of both worlds, combining urban living with city convenience.”

Parkline is designed to be an all-electric building capable of net zero operation, thanks to a 7-star average apartment energy rating and a power system that avoids the use of fossil fuels. The project also includes environmentally responsive features such as a naturally ventilated car park with green walls, an extensive solar array, infrastructure supporting individual electric vehicle charging stations, and home automation options.

Chasecrown is also investing in the public realm around the Kent Town project by enhancing the street frontages and laneways with high-quality landscaping and green walls, further contributing to the ongoing regeneration of the area.
