The Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) and the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) have announced a joint venture to provide high-quality real estate training programs in South Australia.

Key points:

  1. The partnership will launch its first program, the Property Manager Registration Program, in August 2024.
  2. Training will be conducted under REIQ’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO 5420), with resources tailored to South Australian legislation and industry requirements.
  3. Future programs will include Sales Representative Registration and Land Agents Registration.
  4. Training will be delivered face-to-face in Adelaide by qualified South Australian real estate practitioners.

REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella highlighted the organization’s extensive experience:

“Over a quarter of century teaching more than 65,000 graduates, the REIQ has cemented its reputation as a highly regarded training organisation known for producing job-ready professionals in the sunshine state,” Mercorella said.

REISA CEO Andrea Heading emphasized the benefits of the collaboration:

“Students will get the best of both worlds — they’ll benefit from REISA’s localised real estate knowledge built over our 105-year-old history, as well as the REIQ’s proven track record of providing outstanding training,” Heading said.

The Property Management Registration Program, starting August 19, 2024, includes:

  • Face-to-face delivery in Adelaide
  • 13 units aligned with Consumer and Business Services (CBS) South Australia requirements
  • $1,800 registration fee
