A new luxury apartment development in Sydney’s Upper North Shore is offering residents the option to include premium infrared saunas in their homes.

The Residences at Wahroonga Estate, a 132-apartment complex developed by Capital Corporation, has partnered with Kiva Wellness to provide custom-designed saunas in select units.

Jim Hunter, Director of Capital Corporation, said: “We want to present Sydneysiders with the opportunity to live in a relaxed and tranquil setting, on the doorstep of 25 ha of serene natural bushland.”

Hunter added: “Our ambition is to carry this outdoor serenity into the heart of the home by bringing a contemporary wellness product, the infrared sauna, for home buyers to take luxury living to the very next level.”

The saunas will be available in 47 apartments across one, two and three-bedroom configurations.

Aidan Wilde, Founder and CEO of Kiva Wellness, noted a significant increase in demand for infrared saunas over the past two years.

“We’ve seen almost an 80 increase in sales of all our sauna types as more of us look to instil rest and relaxation into our lives on a daily basis,” Wilde said.

The development, set to open in 2026, will be situated near Coups Creek bushland and sections of Lane Cove National Park.

It will also feature pet-friendly amenities including a dog wash bay and barbecue area.

The infrared sauna packages start at $11,000 and are available for purchase now.

The Residences at Wahroonga Estate aims to redefine contemporary living in Sydney’s Upper North Shore by combining luxury amenities with a focus on health and wellbeing.

Capital Corporation plans to roll out similar wellness-focused features across its future projects.
