The property housing renowned Sydney ice cream maker Giotto Gelato has been put on the market.
Located at Lot 4, 66 Dublin Street in Smithfield, the 349-square-metre strata-titled property is set to be sold via public auction.
John Skufris from RWC South Sydney, who is marketing the property along with colleagues Anthony Vella and Peter Tsekenis, highlighted its long-standing success as a business location.
“The property has been a proven destination for well over two decades with excellent parking options for clientele, staff and deliveries,” Skufris said.
Giotto Gelato, a multi-award winning ice creamery, has occupied the premises for about 25 years after relocating from a retail shopfront in Haberfield in Sydney’s Inner West.
The property is part of a boutique complex of three lots, featuring cafe and retail space, a production area, administrative facilities, and loading dock access via a rear laneway.
Anthony Vella noted the versatility of the property for potential buyers.
“66 Dublin Street would suit both retailers and wholesalers, as the current operators service over-the-counter customers and dispatch products throughout Australia from the premises,” Vella said.
The ice creamery has built a loyal customer base over the years, with patrons travelling from across Sydney to visit the Smithfield location.
The auction date for the property has not been disclosed in the announcement.
