A specialist property media agency has rebranded to Today Media after helping developers achieve over $10 billion in project sales since its inception six years ago.

Formerly known as The Today Business (TTB), the company specialises in data-driven media planning and buying for property developers and project marketers.

Today Media was acquired by VMG in October 2022, positioning VMG to offer a comprehensive marketing solution for the property development sector.

Simon Kent, Managing Director of Today Media, expressed satisfaction with the company’s growth.

“We launched TTB because we felt there was a better way to market and sell property and we couldn’t be happier to tick over $10B in project sales,” Mr Kent said.

The company has recently secured new clients including Sherpa Property Group, Core Property Partners, Dasco, and continues to work exclusively with Thirdi.

Mr Kent highlighted the company’s focus on performance media in the property category, which has delivered strong results for clients.

“Through the use of our proprietary technology platform today.app we have been helping customers optimise their media to new and ultimately accountable metrics, which has resulted in a significant increase in ROI,” he said.

The rebranding to Today Media marks the next phase of the company’s evolution, with plans to further leverage technology to improve media targeting based on individual property journeys.

Today Media has established itself as a leading specialist property media agency in Australia, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. It has delivered over 200 projects during challenging economic conditions.

The rebrand introduces a new positioning for the business: “Driven by progress. Obsessed by performance.”

Antony Catalano, VMG’s chairman, praised the Today Media team for their achievements.

“Congratulations to Simon Kent and the whole team at Today Media for achieving such fantastic results in the last six years,” Mr Catalano said.

He noted that VMG’s recent acquisition of The Property Agency (TPA) has created a comprehensive solution for off-the-plan developments.

“We help Developers and Project Marketers with creative, stock management, display suites, media solutions and lead generation. Our aim is to help developers get these buildings out of the ground quicker,” Mr Catalano said.
