“Autumn is the perfect time to refresh your home and create a warm, inviting atmosphere,” she said. “By making a few simple swaps—like introducing richer fabrics, warm lighting, and natural elements—you can effortlessly transition your space for the cooler months while maintaining a stylish and functional interior.”

Key trends for the season include the use of mirrors to maximise light, ambient candle lighting, and the introduction of luxurious fabrics such as velvet and bouclé in rich, earthy tones like rust, olive and navy.

Soft furnishings are a focal point, with Wilson recommending the use of heavier weaves and seasonal tones to reflect the autumn landscape.

To support indoor entertaining, the firm suggests incorporating compact seating options, such as ottomans and armchairs, or foldaway stools in dining areas.

Outdoor spaces remain a priority, with suggestions to use heaters, fire pits, and plush textiles to maintain comfort as temperatures drop.

Wilson also encouraged the use of organic materials to bring nature indoors.

Seasonal foliage such as eucalyptus or pampas grass and accessories made from timber or woven materials add texture and warmth.
