A luxurious beachfront residence in Fingal Head, along with an adjoining vacant block, has hit the market in what could be a record-breaking sale for the NSW Tweed Coast.

The 1,518sqm offering includes a seven-bedroom tri-level home at 36 Queen Street and a 506sqm block at 34 Queen Street with DA approval for a four-bedroom house. Buyers can purchase either property individually or together, creating one of the area’s largest beachfront landholdings with a 38-metre frontage.

The property is being marketed by James Owen of Coastal Property Collective Kingscliff, who described it as “a magical place” and said it had already attracted significant interest from domestic and international buyers.

“Fingal is very tightly held as well and when you get a place like this, it really is pretty special,” he said.

Set in coastal rainforest just steps from Fingal Beach, the home blends native timber and sandstone in a resort-style design. The middle level features an expansive open-plan living and dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows and cathedral ceilings, while the kitchen includes a rosewood island dining bar, servery window and butler’s pantry.

The upper level houses a parent’s retreat with walk-in robe, dressing room and ensuite with walk-in shower and freestanding bath. The ground floor has a three-bedroom children’s area with a media lounge, games room and study zone.

Outdoor features include a mosaic-tiled pool and spa, alfresco decks, barbecue kitchen, panoramic roof deck, and a chalet with its own bathroom and wet bar. The vacant block next door includes half a basketball court.

Owner Jo Telford said the home was created as a sanctuary for family and friends.

“Every corner holds a special memory, and we hope the next owners will feel the same sense of joy and wonder that we have,” she said.

The property goes to auction on Sunday 13 April at 1pm. Comparable sales include properties in Kingscliff and Casuarina that sold for up to $14 million.
