Rich lister Ian Malouf has listed the penthouse in his recently completed Broadbeach tower, Remi Residences.

The 1200 sqm luxury residence spans three levels and features a rooftop pickleball court among its extensive amenities.

The penthouse in the $300 million development is being offered via expressions of interest.

Remi Developments, led by Sydney businessmen Ian Malouf and Peter Wilding, deliberately delayed the release of the penthouse.

“This development reflects what we like in our yachts and residences in scale, design, finishes and artwork,” Mr Malouf said.

“Our objective was to create a world-class penthouse with everything including a Padel Court,” he said.

The residence includes six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a rooftop pool, and a wine cellar with tasting room.

It has been designed for indoor-outdoor living with multiple entertainment zones including private function spaces, alfresco areas, and balconies.

Hanan Cawley, managing director of Highland’s Gold Coast office, said no completed luxury penthouse of this calibre was currently available in the central Gold Coast.

“This is a rare chance to experience and purchase an ultra-luxury residence that is not just conceptual, but fully complete and ready to occupy,” Mr Cawley said.

Remi Residences, located at 122 Surf Parade, offers immediate occupancy in a market typically dominated by off-the-plan sales.

Mr Cawley said the penthouse incorporated sustainability features without compromising luxury amenities.

“Unlike off-the-plan opportunities that may take years to materialise, this penthouse offers certainty, exclusivity, and immediate possession,” he said.

David Highland, CEO of Highland Property, described the Remi penthouse as one of the most remarkable he had seen.

“It’s not just the size and scale โ€” it’s the lifestyle, the finish, the readiness,” Mr Highland said.

“Ian’s created something truly iconic here.”

The building’s shared amenities include spa treatment rooms, plunge pools, a 15m lap pool, residents’ lounge and two resident-only Tesla electric vehicles.

Mr Malouf built much of his fortune when he sold his Dial-a-Dump business to Bingo Industries in 2018 for $577 million in cash and shares.

The businessman owns multiple luxury properties in Sydney and a collection of superyachts.
