The competition lineup for the 2025 Australasian Auctioneering Championships (AUSTROS) has been confirmed, with 17 elite auctioneers scheduled to compete in Adelaide tomorrow.
The Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) will host the prestigious event, which brings together top auctioneering talent from across Australia and New Zealand.
Leanne Pilkington, President of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA), highlighted the significance of the competition.
“AUSTROS is the pinnacle event for auctioneers across Australia and New Zealand. The precision, presence and adaptability required to succeed on this stage are developed over years of experience,” Ms Pilkington said.
The championships represent a collaboration between REIA and the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ), showcasing the highest level of auctioneering talent in the region.
Each state and territory in Australia, alongside New Zealand, conducts a rigorous selection process to nominate two elite competitors to represent them at the championships.
REISA CEO Andrea Heading expressed enthusiasm about hosting the event.

This prestigious event not only celebrates the craft of auctioneering at its highest level, but also brings together the very best talent from across Australia. It’s an honour to welcome such exceptional professionals to compete on our stage here in South Australia,” she said.
