View Media Group (VMG) has appointed Jess Hay as Melbourne Managing Director of The Property Agency (TPA) as part of an aggressive expansion into the Melbourne developer market.
The appointment positions VMG to strengthen its presence in Melbourne’s property sector, working alongside the company’s property-focused media agency Today Media.
The Property Agency Founder Bob St Julian said the appointment would leverage Hay’s extensive industry experience.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing Jess on board to head up our Melbourne operations. She brings a wealth of experience across the Property category,” Mr St Julian said.
He highlighted Hay’s diverse background as a key advantage for the agency.
“Jess’ career journey from media, to full-service, to design specialist creates a rare skill-set which will be harnessed by VMG working closely with Today Media,” he said.
The expansion follows more than two decades of growth in other markets.
“TPA has a very clear objective of growing its Melbourne presence following over 20 years of strong growth in the Sydney & Brisbane markets. Jess has deep relationships with many Melbourne-based clients and will hit the ground running,” Mr St Julian said.
The appointment allows TPA to tap into VMG’s broader network and capabilities.
“Being part of the VMG group allows us to tap into existing relationships in other parts of the group, particularly with Today Media and we believe we can deliver real synergies for clients who are looking for a one-stop communications solution to launch their projects,” he said.
VMG’s integrated approach has already proven successful with several major developments.
“We’ve seen this work seamlessly in other parts of the country including with clients like Thirdi, Deicorp and most recently with Capital Corporation and their Lovedale Farm Hunter Valley project,” Mr St Julian said.
The company has developed comprehensive solutions for property developers.
“VMG has developed an unparalleled end-to-end solution for off-the-plan developments. We help Developers and Project Marketers with creative, media solutions & lead generation, whilst our group level SaaS tools assist with sales administration and display suite technology. Our aim is to help developers get these buildings out of the ground quicker,” he said.
Hay expressed enthusiasm about her new role.
“I couldn’t be happier than to be joining TPA and working alongside the Today Media team. VMG is at an exciting growth phase so it’s the perfect time to be joining,” she said.
She brings significant experience from her previous role as brand and placemaking specialist at Studio Ongarato, where she led the property portfolio and delivered high-profile projects.
Her client portfolio includes QIC, Frasers, Villawood, Riverlee, Pace, Sterling Global, Pask, Orchard Piper, Makris Group, Hassell Architecture, Fini Group and Coronation Property.
Today Media Managing Director Simon Kent welcomed the collaboration.
“It’s great to have Jess come on board and we’re looking forward to working with her in the Melbourne market. At Today Media we pride ourselves on being a market leader in audience identification, targeting and performance media optimisation. To now be able to combine this with TPA’s award-winning brand building and creative execution we ensure we put the right message in front of the right audience at the right time, ultimately delivering more sales for our partners,” he said.
