Campbell Point House, luxury Bellarine Peninsula wedding venue, up for sale

post-header

Campbell Point House, one of Victoria’s foremost wedding and events venues and a private waterfront estate on the Bellarine Peninsula, has been listed for sale.

The luxurious retreat, located at 181-199 Matthews Road in Leopold, is set on 37 acres on the shores of Lake Connewarre and consists of five separate self-contained buildings comprising 20 bedrooms, as well as a swimming pool, pool house, tennis court, jetty, boat shed and approved helicopter landing site.

The property is being taken to the market via a sale campaign run by Stephen Kelly of Knight Frank and Dexter Kang of Luxe Vista Estate acting on behalf of the vendor, Megan Blackhall.

Originally built as a family home in 2007 before being turned into an events venue, Campbell Point House is currently available for group accommodation, private events, weddings and photoshoots, as well as dinners and high teas on weekends.

Kelly said the highly unique and sought-after facility for events and accommodation was expected to generate strong buyer interest during the campaign.

“This ultra-luxurious direct waterfront estate is of the standard rarely seen anywhere on the global landscape,” he said.
“The current business operations have demonstrated a history of substantial income generation.”

He noted the potential for buyers to capitalise on significant income growth via the provision of an external operator and the ability to develop more onsite accommodation on the property, subject to approvals.

Kang said the property was in an idyllic location, presiding over Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula and located around an hour from the Melbourne CBD and fifteen minutes from Geelong, as well as within half an hour of Avalon Airport and in close proximity to world-class schools such as Geelong Grammar School.

No comment can be provided on the price guide for the property.
